Convictions and Community // Run with Horses pt. 5 // Pastor Adam Haugen
The world says turn inward, compromise, conform. God says be strong and courageous. To endure even the greatest of challenges, knowing where our source of strength comes from. We’re made for a reality and purpose that far exceeds our wildest dreams. And there’s perhaps no better example of this to glean from, than the life of Jeremiah.
Pastor Adam shares a message on allowing our convictions to guide us and finding community to surround us. In a culture that thrives on the outward appearance and are more concerned with the show rather than the substance, we put emphasis on the wrong things like distance over direction. Direction is more important than distance and our beliefs are more important than our behavior because behavior is an outgrowth of your beliefs. We also need our communities beside us. We need a team that champions us and encourages us. What needs more of your attention? Your convictions or your community?
