The Goal of Parenting

Last week, we laid the groundwork of parenting by looking at the way we were parented. We have to consider how we were raised and align it with God’s Word if we want to become effective parents and mentors ourselves. The way we were raised is not always what’s most effective for kids today, so what can we do as a church to reach this generation?
Next, we need to consider what is the Goal of parenting?
How do we know if we are doing well as a parent? What is the gauge by which we measure our success?
