What to Expect
Welcome
Here at Glad Tidings, we are committed to the pursuit of God, authentic relationships and a life of purpose. We want to declare hope that comes with a relationship with Jesus and develop people into the fullness of God. We desire our church to be an environment for all to find God. Whether that’s in the sanctuary, or kids service, we are creating a place for everyone.
Parking
When driving to church, we have entrances to the campus on Leander Drive and Highway 183. When using our 183 entrance, please be mindful of the train crossing. If the crossing lights are on, do not cross, and wait for the train to pass.
We also have two parking lots. The upper parking lot is located close to Leander Drive, and fills up rather quickly. The lower level parking is on the 183 side. Our parking attendants will guide you to an open parking spot, and we do have a courtesy golf cart shuttle from the lower level that will bring you to the carport which is located at the front door of the church. Yes, golf carts are fun.
Dress
Everyone is welcome to come just as they are. We encourage you to come the way that you feel most comfortable.
During the Service
Every Sunday at Glad Tidings you will hear a relevant, dynamic, straight-forward message based on the Bible that is designed to be helpful in your everyday life. Messages are live and in-person each week from Pastor Adam Haugen. Service is approximately 70 minutes long.
As part of our Sunday morning services we do take up an offering. If you are a guest, please do not feel any pressure or obligation to give. This is an act of worship for our regular attenders, allowing them to thank God for all of the great work He is doing in their lives and to give back to help continue the work of the church.
Looking forward to connecting with you!
Kids
If you have kids, we have an incredible children’s ministry where the kids are being cared for and enjoying their own teaching (ages birth through 5th grade) while you enjoy the service. Our Children’s staff and volunteers are wonderful, passionate people and you can rest assured that your children will be loved and taken care of in a safe, secure, and exciting environment designed just for them.
Our Kid City ministry provides an amazing weekend experience at every service. Visit the Kids check-in kiosk where our team will register your children and give them a name badge with a parent pick-up tag. Please let us know if your child has any allergies or special requirements during the check-in time. If we need to contact you during service, we will give you a text or call.
At the end of the service, simply show your parent pick-up tag where you checked in and your child will be released to you.

You can make your first visit a little easier, by registering your kids in advance. On Sunday, when you visit our Kids Check-in system, our Kids team will confirm your registration and guide you to the appropriate room.
