GT KIDS
In GT Kids, we believe in two things!
Declaring Hope—that Jesus saves me and can help me with anything, no matter how hard.
Developing Kids—through finding the direction God made for me and living it out every day.
We do this by providing opportunities each week for kids to commit their lives to following Jesus, learning to hear God’s voice for themselves, praying aloud for one another and celebrating answered prayers. Kids are also gaining tools to live for God outside of church, exploring and growing in their God-given gifts, and having a whole lot of fun while building strong friendships. At GT Kids, we are raising up children who will change the world for the Kingdom of God.

Even the youngest children can begin to experience God’s love through care and presence.
Our nursery is divided into Infants (0–18 months) and Toddlers (18–36 months), so every child is nurtured according to their stage.
Babies receive gentle care in a peaceful setting. Toddlers enjoy safe play, simple Bible truths, songs, and activities that spark curiosity and joy.

Preschoolers are forming their first memories about God and His love.
We create an environment where faith is simple, joyful, and unforgettable. Kids sing, pray, and hear Bible stories brought to life in ways they understand.
With hands-on crafts, interactive play, and caring leaders, every child experiences God’s love in real and tangible ways.

Elementary years shape what kids believe about God and who they are becoming.
Each week, kids connect with God through worship, prayer, Bible teaching, and small groups where they can ask big questions and apply what they learn.
And yes — it’s fun. High-energy games, creative stations, and time to build real friendships help every child find their place and make lasting memories.

Safety & Security
How does check-in and check-out work?
You can pre register online before you arrive or register at the GT Kids desk. This allows our team to prepare for your child ahead of time, and saves you time when you get here. You can do so by clicking on this link. At check-in, you’ll both receive matching security tags, one for your child and one for you. At pickup, only the adult with the matching tag can check your child out. If the tag is misplaced, a photo ID must be shown and verified against the list of approved individuals on your child’s profile. We value your child's safety and this ensures we return them to only those approved for pickup.
What safety measures do you have in place?
At Glad Tidings every volunteer is background checked, and all hallways and classrooms have security cameras monitored by our safety team when children are present. Bathrooms in the GT Kids wing are for children only, leaders use the lobby restrooms. We also follow the “rule of three,” meaning no leader is ever alone with a child. At Glad Tidings Church your children's safety is a top priority.
What happens if my child needs me during the service?
If your child needs you, you’ll receive a text message through our secure check-in system. Keep your phone handy and we will reach out if need be. Plus we are just across the lobby ensuring you are always close to your child.

Health & Food
Do you provide snacks?
Nursery and Pre-K children bring their own snacks from home due to dietary and allergy concerns. For special events, the entire children’s department may be offered a snack, and families will be notified in advance. Parents are welcome to opt out, but we encourage you to provide a replacement snack for your child in these instances.
What if my child has allergies?
All allergies and medical needs are noted at check-in. An indicator is printed on your child’s name tag to alert our team to review their profile and follow your instructions. We do our best to follow these instructions in order to provide a safe environment and partner with parents to ensure we follow any allergy restrictions.
Can my child take medicine while at GT Kids?
For your child's safety GT Kids workers do not administer medication. If your child needs medicine during service, we will contact you directly and will allow you to administer medications accordingly.
